Here’s to three decades in the UK! 2012 marked the 156th anniversary of Orvis, making us America’s oldest mail-order outfitter. It also marked our 30th year in the United Kingdom.
Our UK business enjoyed humble beginnings in Nether Wallop Mill, near Stockbridge in Hampshire, back in 1982. Since then, I’ve been proud to watch the business grow to include 22 company-owned retail stores, more than 50 stockists, 15 catalogues, and our award-winning website at orvis.co.uk.
