Is it safe to use my credit card?

Yes. Orvis not only employs the latest web encryption standards, but also maintains our own secure servers in-house. This means no one but Orvis handles your credit card information.


What forms of payment do you accept?

Orvis accepts American Express, Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, and PayPal® for online and faxed purchases. If you wish to send your orders via Royal Mail, Orvis also accepts cheques, bank draft or Postal Orders.

What Orvis products are available online?

Currently, products from our fly fishing, men's, women's, and pet catalogues, and gift cards are available online. Many other catalogue products which are not yet featured on our site are available through our Catalogue Quick Buy electronic order form option. If you wish to purchase an item that you do not see on our web site, simply enter the catalogue item number from one of our printed catalogues into Catalogue Quick Buy and you will be able to make the purchase on-line.


Why are some of your products not for sale online?

As you probably know, Orvis offers literally thousands of products for sale in many different catalogues. Our goal is to offer all of these items for sale on our web site. However, there are a few items that require special handling which cannot currently be ordered over the internet. In addition to these few products, we pull items from our web site on a weekly basis that are "no longer available". This streamlines your web browsing experience so your on-time experience with Orvis is more productive. From time-to-time, we are also able to offer items for sale on our web site that are not yet available through any of our catalogues. Please visit our site often to browse through our latest offerings.

You can order any item directly from your printed catalogue by using our "Catalogue Quick Buy" feature.


What is the status of my order?

You can check on the status of your order by clicking on the Order Status link on the left side of this screen. This takes you to the Order Enquiry screen. You'll need to enter your order number and postal code to check the status of your order. If you don't know the order number, you can find it in the e-mail order confirmation we sent when you placed your online order. If you require further assistance, contact our Customer Service department by live chat, e-mail, or phone.

Do you accept International Orders?

Yes, we are happy to accept international orders. Below you will find our international shipping information.

International Orders (Outside European Community)
The prices in the catalogue include 20% V.A.T. To calculate the net goods price (goods less V.A.T.) for International (not European Community countries) orders, multiply your order total by .8333, then add the following for packing, postage and insured delivery:*

Total Value of Order (Minimum order £25.00):

  • for orders of £25.00 - £74.99 - add £25
  • for orders of £75.00 - £149.99 - add £30
  • for orders of £150 or more - add £35

Taxes & Duties: Depending on your country of residence, there may be additional taxes or duties added to your order that aren't reflected in our pricing. Contact your local Customs office for those charges. Additionally, some countries may charge an extra handling fee within that country.

International EU Orders
Orders to countries within the EU, Switzerland, Austria and Scandinavia, will be charged £15.00 for delivery.

Payment: Use American Express, Visa, Mastercard, Maestro or PayPal(we can not accept Electron or Solo cards), which will not be debited until the goods are despatched. A bank cheque may also be used, provided it is made out for British pounds and payable at a British bank. Add £12.00 to any cheque drawn on a bank not based in the United Kingdom.*

*We do reserve the right to quote a higher delivery charge for any international requests, EU orders, or orders containing unusually bulky or heavy items.
