• Lake entomology (the science of insects)
• How to simplify fly selection—you don’t need hundreds of patterns!
• How to locate fish on a stillwater
• How to play, land, and safely release fish

Situated on the rivers Tweed and Teviot, home of the world famous 'Junction Pool', the holy grail of Scottish Salmon fishing, the store will boast an extensive Fly Fishing department. We will also stock men's and ladies clothing and gifts.

Headed by our Fly Fishing Manager, Ronnie Glass, the fishing department will include a full range of Orvis rods, reels, accessories, fly tying materials and literature. Our fly fishing expertise at the store can help customers find the right equipment to suit their needs.

Store Manager: Claire Cassidy
Claire has been involved in the countryside since she was born; she loves horses and has hunted on horseback since she was 14 years old. Claire is a qualified riding instructor and stud groom, though she now only has time for her own horse. She has been in retail management for the last 28 years and really enjoys the day-to-day interaction with the varied customers who frequent our Orvis store.
