Shipping Address Book

Key in the address once and you will never have to fill out that shipping information again. Just type in the nickname you chose when you first entered the information in your address book and the shipping fields will be automatically filled in for you. This is particularly handy for gift giving at Christmas, Chanukah, Birthdays, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, or other special occasions.

Payment Methods

You can key in as many credit cards as you choose to keep in your wallet, and designate one of them as the default choice. When you make a purchase as a member using either auto login or by logging in manually, your chosen default card will be automatically entered in the payment method field. You can, of course, override the default for a particular purchase, or change the default choice in your membership profile at any time.

Auto Login

Auto login allows you access to all the member benefits without the hassle of signing in with username and password each time you visit orvis.co.uk. This is an excellent option if you are making purchases from your own computer. We will store an encrypted id number on a cookie on your machine, which allows us to match you up with your member information when you come to our site. We do not recommend this option where numerous people use the same computer.

Faster Checkout

When you sign up as a member of www.orvis.co.uk and fill out the member profile, you'll never need to fill out all that billing and shipping information on your orders again. The billing and shipping information will be automatically entered for you. If you'd like to change the billing or credit card information, you have the opportunity to do so before the purchase is finalised. If no changes are necessary, all you need to do is click on the "Finalise Purchase" button and your order is sent.

Express Checkout

Another membership privilege is express checkout. This option will immediately finalise your order using your default shipping and billing instructions. An alert box will allow you one chance to cancel out of express checkout just in case you pressed it accidentally.

Order History

You can also check the status of your orders and view your order history, without having to know the order number. The order history section shows all the purchases you've made while logged into your membership account.

Lost your password?

If so, we will provide you with the password hint you supplied when you signed up. If we do provide you with the password hint, in order to protect your privacy, we will remove the credit card information from your membership profile. You will need to re-enter that information before using our express checkout feature. Although this may be a minor inconvenience, it does protect you from the fraudulent use of your account information. We can also e-mail your password to your membership e-mail account if you so desire.

Need to change your account information?

If you are using our “Auto Login” feature, you will still need to sign in with username and password prior to changing your membership, address book, or account information. This protects you from the fraudulent purchases using your account and only allows shipping to the addresses you have already specified without username and password verification.
