I create a dubbing loop and use this for making a collar so as to have something a bit different on my fly pattern. Great flash.

    Angel hair - 12/22/2014

For folks with bad eyes or large finger, or both, this product is challenging to use, especally if your tying smaller flys, size 14 and smaller. Its small size (tiny & narrow) makes it hard to see and handle. Its almost certainly great for use with larger size streamers, which I will use it for after tying these little nymphs that I'm tying now, size 14-20's, maybe 22-24's as well. If your a waste not want not type of person you may feel frustrated with the waste involved with this product. The price is right so its all good. Beyond all that the reflective nature of this product is just wonderful and will be a great fish catcher whatever type of fly that you will be tying. I have a decent supply of this material so I will use it up as I own it and wont toss it or sideline it to a drawer somewhere. I figure that when I finish using it all up and finished figuring how best to use it I most likely will have mastered the material.

This stuff is beautiful. I've tied several streamers with this and am totally sold. I will be purchasing many more colors. Looking forward to tying some bonefish flies with this. Only downside is it is a little messy, but totally worth it.

Used it for Striped bass flies. Gives a very nice look to sand lance flies. Nice effect in water. Difficult however to handle and fixe to the hook.

    Great product - 6/9/2014

This stuff ties great into streamers. Seems like the smallmouth can't resist when more subtle materials aren't catching.

Awesome stuff that moves and flows like magic. But what a mess it makes. I have used this on bait fish that have been awesome chasing Tarpon.

Never used this material before, I used it as a under hook at the eye end of the hook as a possible strike point, not field tested yet tho,

    Heavenly Hair - 9/3/2012

Fantastic product, really soft and mobile, produces amazing movement in the water. It's really fine so doesn't add too much bulk as you tie it in. Already had several nice pike on flies tied using this material!
