pockets and loops -
A small pocket in either or both seams would have been useful to enable one to carry a handkerchief and also loops on either side for hooking skirt on to hanger. Otherwise a very good product.
Soft flowing material -

Good fit. The fabric drapes smoothly and beautifully. The colors of the fabric are deeper hues than pictured. The lovely hues includes varying shades of terracotta and muted peach and the darkest hue is a deep violet. The softness of the rayon fabric makes it very comfortable to wear. Overall a good purchase.

The pattern was beautiful, but sadly the fabric was not the right weight for the skirt style. I had to return it.
Really pretty, but hard to match -

I just received this skirt - it is really pretty and very unusual colored. It looks much lighter in the picture here - in actuality, the main background shade is an uncommon shade of clay - almost like if you mixed pale clay color with beige-y mauve. It looks like peach or pale apricot in the photo. The other shades in the skirt are a bronze-y terracotta, a deep wine shade and a deep plum shade. The deep plum design looks almost light plum or deep lavender in the photo, but it's not - it is a very dark plum. It's going to be tough to match this skirt - I held up many tops to it. I don't think beige looks good with it at all, unlike one reviewer mentioned. Suprisingly, burgundy looked nice with it ( I know it doesn't look like it would at all from the picture here), probably due to the wine shade in the print. Anything light like cream, beige or white is going to clash with this skirt. Brown didn't look great either. If you can find a light clay shade of top that leans into mauve, or even a beiege-y mauve color, it would match perfectly (Again, you might be saying ewww, but trust me, once you see it in person). I saw a clay colored top in another catalog that I'm going to try, otherwise, I'm going to need to find a fabric and make a top to match. One last thing, this skirt runs very large - it is not a slimmer A-line like ti shows in the photo. It is a full sweep skirt. I wear a size 18 usually (48 inch hip, 33 inch waist), so I ordered the XL - actually a medium would have fit better. But I sew, so I'm going to tailor it down because it is so nice and I don't want to return it. You will definitely get lots of compliments on this skirt - not something you see everyday.

I am so glad that I purchased this skirt. It will blend beautifully with chocolate, tan, clay and cream. I plan on wearing the skirt with the tencel latte vest - another Orvis product. This will make a smashing outfit! Orvis is the go-to company for tasteful fashion!
no matching colours, wrong fabric -

I love this skirt and I am a great fan of Batiks. I would love to see more of them in your clothing, eg sun dresses, as well as skirts. One problem with this one is that it isn't cotton, the usual fabric for Batik (As a quilter, I know this well). The other is that there are no colours in it for me to match to, as I wear neither mauve or pink. So let's see more Batiks, but in cotton, and in a wider selection of colours, including greens, reds, oanges, and blues.
A very nice skirt -

This is a pretty skirt made of a fabric that irons easily and sheds wrinkles well. I purchased the Embellished Blouse to go with it, and the two pieces make an attractive outfit for the warmer months.
