8 WT. Frequent Flyer Rod -
By: Oleh11 from New Jersey
We travel to the Bahamas three times a year. We have always taken four piece rods. We own a 9 and 8 wt.Helios and a Tfo 8 wt. Mangrove . This rod loads very smoothly. United airlines sometimes gives a hassle with the rods. This is my new Bahamas bonefish rod.It casts effortlessly and has plenty of back bone. It's beautifully made. It would be nice if they made a 9 Wt. too. I reccomend this rod too to experienced and novice casters.
backup rod -

This is my second 8 wt pack rod - a backup for my upcoming Iceland trip. They enable me to travel without a bulky rod case. With my first one, I have fished salmons in Hokkaido, Oregon, Alaska and Nova Scotia with great success. For smaller fish I pack two 5 wt 7-piece Orvis rods - 8' 6" and 9'.

Great fly rod -

I am a beginner in the fly fishing world and purchased this rod to catch bass and carp. I love it. Very versatile and made with great quality. I caught a 3lb spotted bass from one of the rivers in my hometown and it was a great fight!
32 Silvers -
Fishing on my favorite Silver SalmonRiver in Alaska my 9 weight rod broke about noon after 39 salmon from 12 to 19 pounds. My backup rod was the ORVIS 7 piece 8 weight. For the rest of the day, 41 more silvers, the rod preformed well enough to be my primary rod.
Super Rod -

Never leave home without it. This rod is always in my truck. I've caught bass, pike, carp, chub and barbel on it and it sneaks into my luggage on every holiday abroad. Once assembled you'd never know it wasn't a 3 piece rod. It's action and casting ability suggest a price tag far in excess of what it actually is!
Great Gift -
Gave it to my significant other for our anniversary; he was so pleased with it and says it is one of the best gifts he could have gotten.
