Just so-so -

It took about 10 days for my Wheaten Terrier to put a small hole in this. I'm keeping it because I'm not sure there's a bed he wouldn't put a hole in. It does seem well-made and comfortable for him.

We are generally not inclined to offer product reviews, but this product impressed us so much that we felt compelled to do so. The quality of construction and materials is superb. The bolsters are sturdy but soft. The cover is soft and inviting and the padding is generous and comfortable. The medium was the perfect size for our two 20 pound, 6 month old puppies who took immediately to the bed. Although our puppies are mild chewers, they are vigorous nesters (scratchers) and, so far, the bed has shown no signs of wear or tear.

When I bought this bed for one of our three dogs it was only because the warranty on it was so generous. My husband and friends laughed at me and made bets on how long the bed would last... The first one has now been in our kitchen for over 4 months and I just bought another one because they appear to be "unchewable"! We have 3 rather destructive dogs but so far they have not touched these beds besides very comfortably sleeping in them. Worth every penny!

I have a Golden Retriever puppy who LOVES to chew and dig. After having him destroy several dog beds, I finally found this one, hoping it would be indestructible as described. I bought the Large for him, knowing he would grow into it. The fabric is thick, yet soft. My dog has not been able to rip it as he has with other beds. The zipper is a heavy duty brass, but the zipper pull is exposed and not hidden - making it accessible. The spun-polyester fill is scant. I added two layers of Poly-Fil NU-Foam and there is still a lot of air in the bed. The bolster, however, is nice and firm with adequate polyester filling. My Golden was able to get through the zipper and pull out the polyester fill in the bolster. Even though the casing is more durable that others I've had, it was no match for the puppy. The bed lost.
