    I love these boots - 7/3/2014

I should have bought these sooner. They are really great. Rugged yet comfortable. I strongly suggest that if you're looking for a comfortable and affordable pair of wading boots to check these out first.

Light Weight Waging Boots - 6/11/2014
    By: from Kailua, Hawaii

I was looking for a light weight, inexpensive wading boot as I travel to the continental US to fly fish maybe 3x a year. These were perfect for my needs. I would recommend maybe getting one size larger. Thanks Orvis.

Finally wading boots that work - 6/4/2014
    By: from Oakland, CA

I bought these boots to replace the ones with rubber tread that I have had for a few years and was never happy with. These boots are super lightweight, completely comfortable, I stood in the American River for six hours last Saturday and no more slipping on algae covered rocks, i would buy another pair of these because of the quality is so good and the price very reasonable. Thank you Mr Orvis!

Great boot for the price. Very lightweight and the felt soles provide good traction. Best entry level boot on the market.

    Great boot - 5/7/2014
    By: from Cincinnati Ohio

Bought these a month ago and wore them for the first time today. They are everything I expected. Was on the river for about 6 hours today. They are extremely light weight, comfortable. Walked across a lot of algae covered rocks. They provided excellent traction. I couldn't be happier with them. I wear a ladies size 6.5 and I ordered a men's size 5. Was a perfect fit with a pair of socks and stocking foot waders. LOVE THEM!!!

Looked like cheap pair - 4/19/2014

did not meet my expectations for an Orvis Product I purchased a pair of boots that looked just like this 2 or 3 years ago that were from a retail sporting goods store that were 1/2 the price and they were the most uncomfortable things I had ever used. I did not walk in these but they certainly looked the same. I will order a more expensive pair from Orvis to meet my needs

Great boots for the price - 4/16/2014
    By: from Calgary, AB

These boots are comfy and solidly built. I've bought a few other entry level boots from various brands and they always seem to fall apart quickly and be softer than I would like. These boots hardly show any wear after about 25 trips on the river. Despite my posting name, I live in alberta and am fishing very rocky rough terrain. These boots are fantastic at sticking to the slick rocks and keeping your ankles from getting bruised up. They are easy to get on and off. I would suggest buying the boots in your exact shoe size if you are wearing neoprene waders.

    Bad Idea - 4/11/2014

Ordered these shoes online and received them in the mail. Before going home at the post office I tried them on. While tightening the lace the loop that the lace threads through tore out of the boot. I wanted to return them there and then but I had a fly fishing trip to go on... so I ended up using them. See these shoes, are good, they run a little big but the overall quality is sub par... they couldnt even take me pulling on the laces before breaking... thinking about years of abuse in rivers... im sure Ill need new boots soon. If you do end up buying this product just be aware that you should be very gentle when tightening the laces.
