let Enrico do the blending -

These fibers definitely work well. Cast easily and make terrific saltwater flies. Blending concept is similar to what Stever Farrar has done but whereas you can easily blend slinky fibers yourself if you so choose, I would not want to even try with EP fibers as they are too soft and hard to separate. 3-D adds subtle touches that are very good.
So easy to tie with -
This material is very forgiving because you tie it in and then just trim to desired shape.
A must have -

The 3D EP fibers have a great blend of shades of colors, making a realistic representation of baitfish and shrimp, more so than most single color products on the market. Great for baitfish with Enrico's traditional minnow flies, and I also use it for clouser and shrimp patterns. Also, if you're a traveling saltwater angler, EP fibers in general take up virtually no space in your bag and you don't run the risk of customs stopping you that you could run into with naturals at the airport.
excellent, but perhaps not best for streamers -

this 3d fiber is more supple than previous EP fibers I've bought. It works great for crab and bunker patterns. But I haven't had great success using as long fibers in streamers.
3D Fibers -
Incredibly useful and easy to use. creates great baitfish imitations. Very easy to build body without a massive head because of material compression. My go-to for all baitfish patterns. I also found the cream material useful for mayfly wings because of how water-repellent it is. My only complaint is that some form of weight, be it wire or beads, must be added to the fly or else it will be impossible to get it subsurface
