Waste of money... -

If you can't thread a woolly bugger fly, I guess you can use this and it will work. Unfortunately, no so much for anything that comes in size 16 or higher. It takes more time, and better eyesight, to line up the hole of a size 20 dry with the tool than it takes to actually thread it the old way. Just go and get a stronger pair of cheaters and call it a day.....
Eye Tie® Fly Threader -

Until a few years ago I would have laughed at those who used the Eye Tie® Fly Threader. Now I am 54 years old and I guarantee that is brilliant, with the view that decreased use it forever.
Time saver -

This is the best addition that I could make to threading my lines to my hooks. It saves me from the frustration of continuing to try to thread the needle where I usually have multiple failures. I keep it in my fishing vest where it is convenient and handy.
Valuable Simple Device -

Magnets are extremely strong in holding small flies in place for easy threading. Read directions on back of packaging and after a few practice threadings easy threading was the norm. This is first threader on the market that works well with size 18 and 20 flies. Great product!
Most of the time I couldn't thread the tippet thru the fly eye at all, especially with any hook 10 and above. Even when it worked on the larger hooks I could do it quicker without this device even with my lousy left eye.
Small fish big help -
By: ToccoaFisher from Dalton, GA
I purchased this product because my eyes are not quite what they used to be. I found it very easy to use and the product works just it shows in the video online. This little fish is awesome. Works great when your trying to tie on a fly and your not having to worry about dropping the fly.
Great for Dropping Flies -
By: PhunWithPhysics from Long Valley, NJ
Now over fifty, I often drop flies into the river when I am trying to change them. Thanks to this tool, I'm able to drop even more! And Faster! Last week I was dropping flies into the river at a better rate than I could have ever hoped for in my 20s! I can only hope I can keep tying fast enough to keep feeding the South Branch Seriously, this tool did not work for me, the magnets are difficult to align the eye in, and the funnels are just too darn small. There are better tools out there.
Cannot get this product to work -

Boy are those yu tube videos ever misleading. Watching them you would think all you have to do is attach the hook eye to the magnet and you're good to go. As I'm getting older and my eyesight is starting to go I was looking for a product to help me thread smaller flies on to the tippet. I find that I I still need to line up the hook eye properly (which I haven't figured out) and the slots are impossibly tiny. Maybe this will worker for a younger guy with cold hands but, for me this was just a waste of money
Smart purchase -
I ordered the eye tie fly threader and used it for the first time this past week on a trip to a local creek. I really appreciated the thought that went into this product. It really helps to guide your line into the eye of the VERY small flies and especially with failing eyes it was a tremendous help. Thanks for putting together a great product!

I have the Eye Tie hanging from my fishing jacket and would not be without it. Threading the hook eye is so simple.
