I'm a believer! -

After trying furled leaders and combo-braided & furled leaders, I determined for myself that the Orvis Braided Leader is just wonderful. Nothing else comes close. I would buy more, but they last forever! That said, I do have one small gripe. I bought the 9' braided leader and was surprised that it was only 5' long. The tippets that come with it are 5'. So, how is this a 9' braided leader? I wonder if the 7 ½' braided leader is only 3 ½ long?
Braided leader system -

This was recommended to me by a friend who grew up fly fishing and this was the one thing he highly recommended when it comes to having a good dry fly presentation. So far I've been really impressed. I've been catching more fish and I like how easy it is to add more tippet. I would recommend this to anyone that is trying to improve their gear.

Great for dry flies. The leader doesn't sink. Ive used it on small jigs too and u can use it as a strike indicator too. Great product!
may change my mind -

Orvis changed from "Floating Braided" to "Braided", I'm hoping they still work as well. The floating braided just needed a little wax touch up every now and then to stay high and dry. I'll be fishing the new stuff Friday.
Good warmwater leader butt -

I use a 7-wt outfit for largemouth and smallmouth bass and panfish. The braided butt does a good job turning over the larger wooly buggers, Clousers, grasshopper imitations, etc. that I typically use. I also use them for wild trout and have never had an issue with "spray" but I'll sometimes make a false cast away from the fish if they're really spooky.
Orvis Braided Leaders -

Outstanding product. Have used them all since they hit the market, but they are VERY hard to find. Can only get them through internet from Orvis directly/ Waiting on a very light braided leader for 2 weight line!!!! That would be the best.

I use these exclusively for dry fly fishing. Allows for a very delicate presentation and the leaders float very well. Adding 3 more bimini tippets compared to the previous version is also a win!
Love it! -
I have been using the Orvis Floating Braided Leader system for a few years. I know many use it for dry fly presentations, but I use it for nymphing as well. They used to sell this with just 2 bimini tippets included in the package. Now there are 5 included on a spool, which is a great improvement. Has completely removed the annoying tapered leader from my set-up. Long story short, great product and I have turned many of my buddies on to it.
The best one -

If you're looking for floating leader, for dry fly fishing on small hooks (18/20) and 25+ meters, with great presentation, this is the best one! Also great with bigger hooks! Prices is equally as quality!
As advertised -

I'm an intermediate fly fisherman and this was the first change I made to my setup. I break down my rod for transport each time I go out, so my leader was always curled up and never really straightened out. With the braided leader I have a much easier time putting the fly right where I want it. I was ridiculed by an individual who mocked the simplicity of the Bimini tippets. He had a strong opinion that if you can't tie the knots then you shouldn't be fly fishing. Don't let these guys discourage you from simplifying your rig!
