Just got the outfit last month from the head store in Manchester. It looks great, It's made great, it feels great in my hands, and it chucks a fly excatly where I want it, with or without the wind. Only thing is, I only used it on their trout pond in their back yard with a yarn fly. Since then, I developed two pinched nerves in my lower back, can't stand for more then a short time, and am now waiting for the correcting surgery. I'm 71, and feel like a kid waiting for Christmas. I paid a lot of money for this item, and it's money well spent. The only complaint I have, is UPS leaving it on my front porch without even so much as ringing the doorbell.
Last november I took this rod to Patagonia. It was wind and the trout were feeding below the surface. The guide asked me to wade with him to the middle of the river and cast droppers under the trees. I´m not used to wade so the further I could go had to cast around 15 meters with precision, spey roll casting, droppers and with the wind! The H2 # 5 8'6" performed perfectly and we landed around 8 nice 20 inch plus fish from under those green leafs. This was the first day of the trip and I could go back home because I was "fished". Just an amazing rod. Fishing locally on a pond, the pacu (fish) always stay in the middle of the lake, around 35 meters from the bank. Casting the whole line is easier with this rod. Great fighting too.
