Rod replaced -

Broke my rod at the end of the season. Send it back to Orvis it was a older rod wasn't expecting to get a Helios 2 in return. Tried the rod last week. Did my eyes ever open easy to handle and it made my fishing skill seem to be so much better. I could cast much further and with no effort and it was so light. Thanks Orvis

I purchased a 5 weight Helios 2 for trout several months ago. Just an outstanding rod and reel outfit. Last month I fly fished the Florida Keys and used the guides equipment. I was disappointed with this equipment and decided to purchase an 8 weight Helios 2. The new equipment is far superior to all the premium equipment I own. tom
