    Nice watch. - 3/4/2015

At almost 15mm thick this IS a thick watch and I had some concerns about it at first. But the crown of the watch (not the back) has a nice curve that contours to the wrist so it doesn't really feel blocky when it is on. It has a Myota movement but not sure which model. I haven't tested to see how long it takes to run down but I didn't wear it for a couple of days after I got it and it was still ticking which seems pretty decent. My only wish is that the luminescence was stronger. For as much as there seems to be on the face you would think it would last a little longer. Other than that it is a very nice watch and I have no gripes. :-)

    Thick Watch - 2/9/2015
    By: from McLean, VA

I returned this item because the face is so wide that I can't button a long sleeve shirt at the cuff. Beautiful watch but just too thick of a dial. Also, it seemed to have issue with keeping the time. It kept stopping and starting so I believe it was defective.

The Watch to Watch - 2/3/2015
    By: from Galveston, TX

The watch is very pleasant to wear: light and comfortable. It's also accurate. My only complaint is that it arrived with no instructions and no explanation of its mechanism. It's an automatic watch, yet it has a battery. Why? And when you change dates, you apparently can move forward only--which is tedious. But for an inexpensive watch, it serves the purpose nicely.

    Love this watch - 11/14/2014
    By: from England UK

Watch was a replacement for an earlier version of the automatic field watch which caused me a lot of problems and had to be replaced 3 times over a number of years its mechanism seemed to fail and the knurled knob that you change date and time with also failed. Ovis were marvellous in relaxing with out question and in the final event had to issue a credit note as the actual model was no longer stocked. I took the plunge to add to the credit note to get this one 6 months ago and it keeps very good time and does what it says on the tin at a very good value. Two small issues which has down graded my score. One is I had to get another hole put in the strap for my small wrist. And second is the knurled knob (again!) is not easy to use as the two active positions are not always easy to locate. Otherwise I love it.
