Rated 4 out of 5 by from Jam-stop The non-jamstop tend to move on my leaders so that's why I buy jam-stop versions. Would get a 5 if I could buy packages of just white or translucent

Rated 1 out of 5 by from These break monofilament These indicators work well, but only for small fish. I'm extraordinarily puzzled and angry that this junk is on the market. I lost two very substantial rainbows today because of this product. Orvis 4x broke right at the strike indicator both times - there will not be a third time. I'm very sorry that I wasted my money on these, and I'm very sorry that there are two monster trout swimming around with a couple of feet of leader hanging from their mouths. Finally, I'm embarrassed that my initial enthusiasm for these things led me to prematurely recommending them to friends.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Jam-Stop Using Float Indicators, Go Thingamabobber I used traditional float indicators for years, but since I tied on a Thingamabobber I've never looked back. Easy to cast, easier to see, and no more floatant necessary.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Product Floats very well but make sure the peg is pushed in tight to prevent it slipping on the leader.. I bought the half inch size but, I suggest that if you are casting really far out or if the water is choppy then you would be better with the three quarter inch size. Better still, carry both sizes in your kitbag.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Indicator Last year, and way more this year, I'm spending more time nymphing, usually dual set ups. Tried using thingamabobbers early in the season with good results, but became interested in the jam-stop for its ease in moving up and down as I change spots on the river. These worked great and are all that they're advertised to be.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works well I much prefer this to the original because the jam-stop really holds the float in place.
