The thread is strong, lays well, and does exactly what I use it for which is streamers and bugs headed for brackish and salt water.
Like the breaking strength, don't like the thread -
By: gps2388 from Blacksburg, VA
I like the breaking strength on this thread, great for anything requiring tight winding like spinning hair or adding dumbbell eyes. However, I have found that unless I add extra wax to the thread the fibers tend to separate from one another while I tie which is very frustrating. Hard to tie a nice head when half of the strand of thread is spinning separately. Part of the problem is likely the aluminum bobbin I use but other threads do not do this nearly as badly. I plan to switch to monofilament for tightly wound patterns.

Thank you for your feedback regarding this product. While we understand your frustration with the fibers separating, this is an issue common with all polyester threads. One way to avoid this happening is by spinning the bobbin to put a twist in the thread before wrapping. When this isn't done, the polyester unfurls due to the reverse twist being put into the thread by the rotation of the bobbin. As always, we offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee on all of our products.
