Would never use this!!! -
I was very disappointed in this crate. Yes, it is light and would be easy to carry. But it is quite flimsey and not easy to assemble. Once assembled, I cannot imagine leaving even my smallest dog in it for five minutes. It does not seem sturdy enough for any dog. Very flimsey and cheap. This product is not worthy of Orvis and should be discontinued. Really awful product. Would never use it and I am sending it right back. Waste of my time and money!!
If your pup has car anxiety -

We had a springer foster who had severe car anxiety. So we wanted to try this, since this has just holes, and the screened front is dark so we tried it. At first it did not work, but once we threw a towel over the front he finally stopped, yes in an air conditioned car, so this is a great crate for dogs with travel anxiety. Its a bit darker inside. Easy to put together and storage does not take up a lot of room.
Good crate -

This crate is lightweight and easy to assemble. The zippered opening is on one side. I would give it 5 stars if it could be opened from both ends.
Safer for Dog and Family -

They have a distinct size that makes them a better fit in all of our vehicles. We now have three of these crates from Orvis - 2 in the larger size and one in the medium size. They are the car travel crates for our two Basset Hounds and one Daschund. As they are a bit lower than our previous crates they do not block on impede the driver's visibility.
