Mighty nice -

I was given a name brand knit fleece made by another outfit a few months ago, and it did not fit..so it has a new home now. But it sold me on the idea of a knit fleece...the Orvis version has a much better fit, a true Large in my case..the finishing touches are also more refined and it just hangs better, I like the Tomato color better as well..

This is not a heavy fleece jacket. It is for between seasons or for layering in winter. It is beautifully made and will probably be a favorite go-to item for the man who will get it for Christmas!
My second sweater fleece in a different color. Looks great. Warm and comfortable.
Very comfortable and flexible -

Definitely a layering jacket. It is not pretty or stylish but it is warm. I bought it specifically to wear while playing golf in temperatures between mid-forties and mid-fifties. It is perfect. The fabric is flexible with no binding making for easy movement. I often wear it without a wind breaker layer.
Great for cold weather -

This sweater is very flexible. Can be worn under or over another layer, and it's great looking too.
Excellent fleece -

Ordered the sweater fleece jacket while it was on sale. Amazed at the quality stiching! This light weight fleece is my interim jacket until the hard cold hits. Nice zip pocket pen or sunglass holder. Great quality nylon zippers. Fit was perfect. Very recommended.
Too Much Contrast Stitching -
By: TCUFrog from Fort Worth, TX
The picture online doesn't fully show how strong the contrast of color of the seams' stitching is on the carbon heather. The overall fit is great though and it's pretty light which is a plus. Would be nice to have back views of the products online.
Can't judge a sweater by its picture -

The sweater was an ideal weight fleece. The bad news: rather unattractive "contrast stitching" in odd places, including 1/3 up the forearm, and piping on the cuffs. Would not have worn it if given me. Could not see any of that detail on web page, and ad did not mention contrast.
