Our classes are the next step in your fly-fishing education. Designed to give you a great on-the-water fly-fishing experience, the day's instruction is built around specific techniques and local fisheries.

• Essential knots
• How to choose your tackle
• Lake entomology (the science of insects)
• How to simplify fly selection—you don’t need hundreds of patterns!
• How to locate fish on a stillwater
• How to play, land, and safely release fish

Store Manager: Jessica Dayman-Johns
Jessica joined Orvis in April 2017. She has previously worked with a range of premium retail stores in and around Bath, working extensively one to one with customers to help improve personal experience in store. Jessica has grown up locally and spent much of her childhood exploring the Somerset wilderness, which she does these days with her two lovely dogs. She is very enthusiastic about Orvis product and is a welcome addition to the store.

Assistant Manager: Lewis King
Lewis started his retail career with BHS as a Sales Associate before joining House of Fraser in the prestigious Jolly’s building in Bath. He rose quickly to become a Store Trainer, Brand Manager for Hugo Boss and Barbour and Season DSM for Men’s Wear. He has also won competitions for his exceptional Visual Merchandising skills, which he has shared across the Orvis brand since joining in 2015. Lewis’ enthusiasm and knowledge shine when he’s helping all customers with their needs. Lewis likes to spend his spare time hiking and climbing in the West Country, especially in the Cheddar Gorge area.
