Didn't last the first day! -
By: Dreid98 from Hartsdale, NY
My dog chewed it up in record time. Left the house for an hour and livingroom was full of fluff. Also did not have a lot of stuffing it and the dog seemed to sink down to the floor. Perhaps some foam in the middle or bottom would be a better design. Certainly not worth the price! I will be returning.
Bed for Dobermans -
By: Defender110 from Rockwall, TX
I've had Dobermans for years. Dobermans love to chew up things! This is the first bed they have used for its intended purpose - to curl up and sleep on. They have not shredded it and I'm not pulling stuffing out of their mouths every 10 minutes. Absolutely worth the price.
The Perfect Dog Bed -
We bought our first deep dish tough chew dog bed a couple of years ago for our first dog. It was the first bed he didn't tear up in the first week. The bed is durable and comfortable. We just bought another bed for our second dog because he would only lay on the first dogs bed. The price is a little high but because it is so long lasting and easy to clean it is totally worth it.
Not So Tough -

I have a Brittany and believe it or not he did chew a hole through the bolster of this bed. It's a great bed but just not tough enough for my furball!
Even Nigel can't destroy this bed! -
By: Nigel1 from Illinois
A friend recommended Orvis to me after my Bullmastiff puppy (Nigel) had destroyed several other dog beds. There was nothing that would hold up to this dog. He had destroyed three irons, a vacuum cleaner, numerous shoes,etc...you get the idea. So, I purchased an Orvis ToughChew bed for him, and it survived. Even he couldn't get his teeth into this one! Several months later, my one year old Nigel weighs in at 120 pounds. I decided to purchase another Orvis bed to put in a different location for him. This time, I chose the Deep Dish version of the ToughChew bed. He absolutely loved it from the minute I took it out of the box. He loves to press up against people and furniture, so this was perfect as it has the sides that he can lean into. We literally have to drag him out of this Deep Dish version, as he loves it so much!
Pipe's Crash Pad -
By: MichHuntsFish from Pleasant Ridge, MI
Great fabric and our 6 month old Vizsla just loves the shape and feel of it. We didn't like the tartan(the material makes it look really chinsey) and switched to the Herringbone. Love the life time warranty thus makes the price tolerable. Would for sure recommend this to friends and after she chewed through 2 other beds I'd like to see her try with this one!

I have a young Frenchie with very sharp teeth. He tried his best to destroy the bed but do far so good. Now sleeps in it. This is a first.
Mini English Bull Terrier Chew Proof -
By: RoscoeMiniBullTerrier from California
Roscoe can pop tennis balls, chew through wood, aluminum , firehose, and destroy chew proof plastic toys in minutes but he has not started unraveling the seams or bit through the fabric. This dog has one of the strongest jaws in the canine kingdom. Its only been 2 weeks but everything else has only lasted 2 days. Time will tell. Roscoe loves the back bolster and soft cover. If this breaks his habit of chewing up dog beds the price is worth every dollar.
Not Chew Proof -
This is the second time our Bernese Mountain dog has chewed through this bed after the first two days.
