It took our new puppy about an hour to chew a hole in this "tuff chew" bed. I am willing to rent him out as a tester for any other chew-proof items you might wish to sell.
Durable but... -

This is the second dog bed I purchased this year from Orvis. My 1 1/2 yr old golden has a major chewing problem -once those teeth get hooked into something, nothing is safe. Having compromised the first dog bed by making a hole in the fabric I decided to purchased the "Deep Dish Tough Chew Dog Bed "and even had her name embroidered on it. It is like promoted -strong and durable. Unfortunately, she will not sleep in it. There is a strong fabric odor and not as soft. In spite of many attempts to entice her to curl up on it, it has not worked. So, I repaired the old one and she curls up on it like a possum.
Good but small for a Great Dane -

Very well made bed, seems like it would hold up well. It's (large) just too small for our Great Dan puppy.
This is the third Orvis bed we have bought our Staffordshire Bull Terrier; she has absolutely adored all of them BUT we adore this one as she can't 'consume' it! She can't resist having the odd nibble at this one but it appears to be holding out well. I do wish however that a Medium size was available - 'tis a little large for her.
Tough chew dog bed -
Well made bed with great durability. But lacks just a little bit of softness. Overall it's great for a chewer

My 10mo old Pup is an avid digger and he will stand up and dig around in his bed for 10 minutes sometimes before he's settled and these are the only beds that will hold up!
Deep dog dish -

Unfortunately the colour of the bed that we ordered on line was very different from what we were expecting. We took it back to a local store in the UK who agreed that sage was a very odd description for a bed that.was yellow. However we picked up another bed that we really liked and are hoping that our dog who loves it so far won't eat it!! So far so good...
Hank (our golden retriever) fell asleep on it as soon as I got it out of the box. It's so nice, I would like to nap on it. Worth it for our little guy.
Loves his bed -

This bed is seemingly indestructible! Atticus chews, scratches and drags his bed around. So far not a hole or tear or even any wear. Although this bed very tough, he is comfortable and lies on it especially at night when he gets tired. Also, appears to feel safe in his bed more so than his crate.
