  This is a terrific product. My catch rates have improved using this product on specific flies. Also, the strength of the tinsel is more than adequate when tying flies...Which is nice as it stays together when applying pressure.

  Very good product for fly highly reflective fly bodies. Exceptionaly bright with good uniformity throughout. Easy to work with an lasts well in the water.

  Great variety of colors and excellent for a variety of flies. I use this stuff to make flashy wings and bodies for trout and steelhead flies mostly.

  The Orvis Holographic Tinsel is perfect for tying flies such as the Flash-back Gold Ribbed Hares Ear. It adds a little flash, color and toughness so they hold up to eager trout a bit longer. A must have in every fly tying kit.

  IM ALWAYS UP FOR TRYING NEW PRODUCTS SO I BOUGHT A COUPLE SPOOLS OF IT,I TRIED TO STAY WITH A FAIRLY NEUTRAL COLOR,IT ISTHE TWO SPOOLS THIRD FROM THE LEFT KINDA OF THE MIDDLE OF PICTURE,NOTHING WILD,AND THEY HAVE SOME WILD COLORS FOR SURE.IM NOT SURE IF I CAN GIVE IT FIVE STARS ON MEETING MY EXPECTATIONS THOUGH,AND THAT IS JUST A PERSONAL PREFERENCE,HOWEVER I WILL BE ABLE TO USE IT MORE FOR MY SALTWATER FLY PATTERNS IT WILL DEFINATELY MAKE SOME VERY WILD BODIES WHICH I CAN TOTALLY SEE THE FISH GOING AFTER IT PROVIDING YOU DONT HIDE IT,IVE TIED A FEW AND AS LONG AS YOU CAN SEE THE HOOK SHANK COVERED WITH IT IT KIND IF LOOKS LIKE A NICE LATTERAL LINE OF A SMALLER BAITFISH.ALL IN ALL I HAVE TO SAY ITS A PRETTY NEAT PRODUCT AND I WILL DEFINATELY BE USING IT QUITE A BIT
