Review retrieval timed out
Right I read all the reviews for this bed and thought they were fair.I have just received mine very quickly from the USA and it is as I thought NOT enough filling.So what I have done is throw away the rubbish center cushion and replace it with reflex form as the main support,then I have put 3" memory form inside a waterproof cover just in case of any accidents.
Now the bed is really comfortable and the center cushion is about 6" thick my dog loves it now.I did contact customer services before buying just to see if they would send out extra filling there answer was yes but they refused to send it with the bed I would have to ask for it when the bed arrived.My advice is don't bother with the cotton rubbish it compacts no mater how much is in there.
The memory form cost £35 for a single bed mattress topper and the form cost £45.,Only had the bed for 1 day and the dog loves it. We have a 67lb GSP and ordered the medium based on other comments. I think the size is just fine, he mostly curls up to sleep and very rarely stretches all the way out to sleep, so the medium is plenty big enough for him. It is not as large as the picture looks or as firm but he seems to think it's heavenly!,I had purchased a different Orvis dog bed a couple years back, but the time had come to upgrade. After reading through reviews of several different Orvis beds, I decided on the Lounger Deep Dish bed for my pooch. She loves sleeping with her head on a pillow, so I knew she'd appreciate the bolsters on this design. The bed is very visually appealing and she fell in love with it immediately - she finally slept in her own bed (every night) in the first time in months! Unfortunately, the middle cushion has flattened out significantly after just a couple months of use, so she's not as apt to lay in it anymore. Hopefully we can get some more filling for it - I would have given it 5 stars otherwise!,My Great Dane loves this bed. I agree with other reviewers, it needs more stuffing. As Great Dane owners, we have had lots of beds that need more stuffing. This bed was to replace another "normal" bolster bed, so I stole the stuffing from that bed and used it in this bed. I would estimate that I ended up with between 2 and 3 times more stuffing. It has ended up being his most favorite bed ever. I would recommend it to other big dog owners, but you need to add stuffing to it to make it look like the pictures and make your dog happy. We will be buying a second one, plus stuffing.,Very nice bed however it does not look like the picture shown right out of the box. Once I added more stuffing though, it looks pretty much like the picture. Buyer beware, ask for additional stuffing when purchasing this bed!
