A complete wraparound bolster offers the maximum in safety and security. Ideal for dogs who circle and circle to find exactly the right nesting spot. Covered in two layers of 1,000-denier Cordura nylon—to stand up to the most persistent of chewers—the ToughChew Bagel Dog Bed features soft, comfortable, odour-free, hypoallergenic spun polyester in the centre and in the wraparound side bolsters, providing comfort, security, and support from any angle. Inner pillow features sage on one side, light brown on the reverse. In sage, light brown. Pillow and bolster covers are removable and washable.

Small 25" x 19½" outside dimensions, dogs up to 25 lbs.

Did not receive size advertised,

"I recently received the small bed that I ordered. I have an Alaskan Klee Kai dog, which is a miniature husky. He is about 13" tall and maybe 20" long, but is much smaller when he curls up in a ball to sleep. So, I thought the small size would be perfect for him, since it is 25" by 19.5".

However, the bed I received is only 20" by 16". Needless to say, my dog does not fit in the bed. I have contacted Orvis to try and get a product specialist to speak to me about it. I am hoping that I just received a defective product, because I really cannot afford to buy the medium or even large, depending on what size they actually arrive as.

So, until I know if my pet bed is defective, I would recommend buying the larger sizes.

My ratings are purely based on this size issue. My dog really hasn't used the bed, since he cannot fit comfortably in it. He did pull out the middle cushion part and started chewing on the edge. It is a little frayed now, but I would say it is tougher than any average pet bed..."

Tough bed for a tough situation,

"This bed arrived at a harried moment. My dear puppy was very excited about a visitor and showed her 'excitement' by biting right through the cover! I immediately called Orvis. They asked that I email a photo of the hole and a replacement cover (complete with personalization) was rushed out. Now my dog is a FIERCE chewer but this bed, now that things have calmed, stands up to her. She loves it. Finds it comfortable for resting, playing and napping. And she's learned that it takes too much work to eat through it again!"

Quite sad, really,

"I, like so many other pet owners with chewers, want to provide my dog with a safe and terrific sleep experience. With high hopes I ordered this bed and with sadness, I am returning it. When I presented it to my 2 year old labradoodle, he immediately took the inside padding out of the bed (which is not attached to the bolster) and used it as a toy to drag around the house and puncture holes in. Then, once left with the entire bed for a couple of hours, he proceeded to chew holes in the sides of the bolster as well. Thank you Orvis for allowing me the chance to try this tough chew bed, and thank you for letting me return it."
