Picture of probity - elegant, functional - 3/4/2014

I bought these glasses to replace a pair my infant pulled apart, unexpectedly. They are perfect reading glasses, the marled pattern is even more strikingly refined in person. My only complaint, is that they are hard to repair. The joints don't employ standard parts. So buy two or three if you can manage it. They are perfect reading glasses for 2-3 hours stretches of reading or writing.

    eyebobs - 9/18/2013

Love eyebobs. Fun , unusual readers. My problem is they bend easily, so do not fit evenly on face. I took a pair into an eyeglasses store to straighten them and they sadd they could not fully straighten the glasses. Keep glasses in the hard case they give when buying , to hopefully keep them from damage.

Nice to be able to get good quality reading glasses.I have 2 different pairs of Orvis reading glasses. People always comment and say they like them, quite a few in my office use them when I am away from my desk even my female PA! Good fit and a quality product.

Nice, well made, and attractive, but seems expensive. Added postage was off the chart.

    I can see! - 7/4/2011

I needed a little help seeing for fun in the field and projects at home. These readers did the trick . Well made and durable, I look forward to many years of service. I might add that local Orvis had to bring them in from another location - the process was timely and painless.

I had cataract surgery recently, & now need reading glasses. So I went to my drugstore & bought a pair for about $15.00. I wore them for a few days & they began falling apart. So I ordered a pair of "navigators" from Orvis. The difference between the 2 was amazing. The Orvis pair was rock solid. I have used these glasses for about 2 months & I believe they will last for years. The optics of the Orvis pair are closer to my regular glasses( I no longer need to wear them) . But the best part is that I look like a dude from the 50's- like way out.
