This fabric is great! Light enough for the outdoor summer hunt, but still nice looking enough to go into the office!

These are lightweight and an excellent fit. Accurate sizing on the internet.

The pants were rue to measure, well constructed and a quality material (strong, but comfortable from the first wear)

Cargo pants have become a staple in the past 10 years. Orvis sells a good product. The fit is quite good but the look is a bit baggy. The color is a bit "muddy". Overall I would recommend them to a friend.

Fit is true to size, weight is adequate for cool summers.
An Excellent Purchase! -

These are the first cargo pants I have purchased from Orvis and I could not be more satisfied. They fit as I had hoped they would and with the expansion tabs, can accommodate bulky shirts stuffed into the pants and my ever changing waist line. They came out well from the wash and are becoming more comfortable to wear with each washing. The number of pockets is a real bonus. I highly recommend these cargo pants.

These pants look and wear great. On a 90.degree day they were just the right weight to keep you cool. The fit was right on and felt great.

Fabulous go (almost) anywhere pants. Superb quality. Roomy but NOT baggy. An excellent investment --- adjustable waistband lengthens time pants can be worn (& lowers cost per wearing). Good range of colors. Neat Velcro pocket hidden behind largest pocket. PS Looks great with Orvis Bush shirt (also great quality).
Good Anywhere Anytime -
These are basically all year round pants. I wear them in Alaska and Oklahoma. The fit is very good and they look sharp. Plenty of pockets for fishing, or just knocking around. I even wear them to dinner when traveling. Less to pack because they are so versatile..
Cool, crisp cotton fabric that holds up under pressure
Bush Poplin is a microcanvas, consisting of yarns half the thickness often used in its beefier cousin, Orvis Rhinohide, yet nearly equal in it's durability. Bush Polin is a light and soft natural fabric able to withstand years of wear and washings, yet remains crisp and neat.
Great for Warm Weather Wear
Each yarn of Bush Poplin is composed of several fibers twisted tightly together, resulting in a fabric that is abrasion- resistant, yet feels cool and relatively weightless on the body. Maximizing cotton's natural advantages, the basic microcanvas weave consists of a balanced, interlocking pattern of mid-weight yarns on the warp (vertical weave) and slightly slimmer yarns on the weft (horizontal weave). This weave maximizes yarn strength while allowing for a considerable measure of breathability. You'll never feel stifled, even in the most wilting tropical heat.
The Traditional Safari Attire for Your World Adventures
Cotton poplin was the preferred fabric used by British colonists when on safari. Our collection offers the timeless and classic style of this traditional attire. Testament to poplin's versatile, rugged characteristics, it comprised the bulk of the fabrics used on all fronts during World War II. For the U.S. military, poplin fabrics struck the best balance between comfort, durability and crisp uniformity, holding up well to extensive field abuse and thousands of industrial-strength washings yet still presenting well in review. A 5-oz. cotton microcanvas, Bush Poplin is known for its comfort in warmer conditions, exceptional travel-worthiness, and durability.
