Riverguard wading boots -
By: nessie22 from Scotland
These ultralite wading bootsare very comfy with very supportive soles. I have walked over 15 miles with no problem at all. I am just finding it difficult to obtain the different soles for them. They are great boots!

I have always relied on boot foot waders for years, but around 4 years ago I got my first neoprene and then breathable stocking foot waders. I was dissapointed as I could not find boots to fit my rather wide feet. I suffered in silence, my fishing becoming uncomfortable after a couple of hours. However, I foound the Riverguards in the local Orvis store, tried them on and decided to buy them. Well, what a transformation. I can now walk to my favouritse spots without feeling as if my feet were bound in bandages. I can spend a whole day on mt feet with little to worry about. I love them!. The grip offered by the ecotrax/studded sole is second to none. My only slight concern is that the Orvis website now lists these soles as unavailable. Not much use if I wear through the sole.
Great pair of boots and customer service -
By: KmCfly from Washington, DC
Saw these on sale and was able to seek quick and helpful guidance from a customer representative (product info. and sizing help). Saw the other reviews and decided to take the plunge. Shipped quickly to me despite the hurricane/tropical storm. Wore them while fishing the Savage River in Western MD. A stream known for slippery conditions. I forgot my wading staff, but the boots performed wonderfully - eco-trax with the studded cleats kept me from bruising my behind several times! Other notes: super easy to clean after I was done (stop the spread of didymo). Lacing system is great. Comfortable. Top quality product and is in compliance with MD's ban of felt-boots.
Military Grade Ultra Lite Wading Boots -
By: Covey from Sedona,AZ.
I love these boots. I just returned from a three day flyfishing trip to the Arkansas River in Beuna Vista Colorado. I am a very aggressive flyfisher ,fishing long stretches of river and demand boots that can take serious punishment. Every boot that I have purchased in the past have shown immediate wear and tear on my first outing. These boots are the first wading boots I have purchased that when first fished, showed virtually no damage or cuts from my agressive wading tactics. Also,I am very impressed with the comfort of the boot from the moment I stepped into the river. Do yourself a favor and get these boots. I would recommend these boots to a pro guide, they are that good.
Poor Sizing -

As noted in the sale ad, the boot is sized incorrectly. I had to order up 1.5 sizes to get a reasonable fit. The boot is well-constructed. It was disappointing that Orvis did not have available the other sole options, but I did manage to find studded felt soles online. At the sale price, I would recommend this boot.

Bought the Orvis by Korkers wading boots in May. Have worn them many times here in Wisconsin and on a 17 day jaunt to Montana and South Dakota fishing everyday. These boots are comfortable, easy to put on and after ordering two additional interchangable inserts now feel that I have the ultimate in wading gear for any conditions with rubber soles, rubber with studs and felt... Thank You ORVIS for putting them on sale and making them the best buy I have EVER made!
Great boots -

These boots grip river rocks very well and make every step more safe. They even work great on the dry ground when going up or down steep, gravely river trails.
Great Traction -
I took the boots out for their first trip this weekend. They got excellent traction on moss and slime covered rocks, and didn't get bogged down in the mud. My only complaint was that the strap from the sole broke on one of the boots and then wouldn't stay connected to the back of the upper. The sole, however, stayed firmly in place and never gave any performance problems, but aesthetically, it looks broken.
Great wading boots -

The Orvis Korkers wading boot is a great product.Very well made, and the fit was right on. The Orvis rubber is as sticky as you can get.The cleats work great also, but it would be nice to be able to install new cleats as they wear, or just to take them off when not needed. I would buy them again.
