I've been looking for suspenders and finally found them at Orvis. They are very well made and should last many many years.
Great Pair of Suspenders -

These are a great pair of suspenders - they look and work great. I am going to have to begin adding buttons to more of my pants so I can use them with more than just my Field Marsh Pants.

Since my first well thought out review was bounced for mentioning my disappointment in the country of origin, again, 45 yrs. after my first fly fishing vest purchase, I'll be brief. My biggest lament is the leather in these braces. Thin, artificial looking, imprecisely cut and sewn. No proud "Orvis" embossing, just a little tag inside. Cotton webbing seems a bit thick, with heavy wire-like adjustment buckles. After two bird hunts, they are functional though, and I prefer the cotton webbing over all elastic, which would feel like rubber bands constantly pulling, instead of simply supporting my brush pants. I'll keep them, just thought they would look and be constructed as "classy" as the photo suggests, but in my opinion they are not.
Great Suspenders -

I have not been able to use these in the field yet, but they seem to be very well constructed.

While these suspenders are not as good as the ones offered earlier, I believe they are ok for the price. I have some from maybe 10 years ago I really like, and some newer ones from a couple of years ago that look like they may have received the attention of an MBA or two. Material not as nice, leather is flimsy. Clearly not the same quality as the earlier suspenders. However, having said that, I will also say the newer models are as good as any I have found lately including the ones from Washington State. Being a somewhat portly person I have spent a lot of time in suspenders/braces in hunting clothes and business suits, so I have some experience and these are ok......
Very nice looking suspenders, but the adjustable buckles are to small and cinch the webbing such that there is a large unsightly and uncomfortable bulge. Maybe the webbing is too heavy. Not sure if I'll ever wear them.
Pass on these.... -
These are good looking suspenders in the catalog and in person. The craftsmanship and materials are well done, but the suspenders are uncomfortable and are not worth it. The material in the straps have no give or elastic in them, and consequently they are very stiff, unyielding and uncomfortable. Pass on these and pick up another set elsewhere.
