WWII Naval Deck Jacket

Our military jacket for men will feel like an old favourite from the first wearing.

Details

We modelled this casual, unlined lightweight jacket after a rare, limited-issue World War II-era US Navy deck jacket. The washed, soft corded-cotton fabric gives it the look and feel of a weathered favourite from the very first wearing. Distinctive gunmetal firefighter's clasps and storm flap conceal a full metal zip closure. Ribbed collar, cuffs, and hem. Two front patch handwarmer pockets. 100% cotton. Washable.
Sizes: M(38-40), L(42-44), XL(46-48), XXL(50-52); about 27¼" long in size large.

    Fantastic Jacket! - 5/15/2015
    By:

This is a refreshing change in style from "bombers" & "barracudas". It is supremely comfortable, especially the knit collar. I've received several compliments on this jacket. It stands out in a crowd, with the firefighter style clasps used, or not. The inside pocket is perfect for a cell or a bill fold. It's a great choice for those who like to be noticed and have fun doing so.

great jacket for fashion & practical wear. Warm enough for winter wear but light enough for early spring & I am sure late fall wear.

    Family Legacy - 4/30/2015
    By: from Framingham, MA

I love the jacket. My father must have worn such a jacket while serving in the Navy in WWII. He was killed 6 months before I was born. This is a great legacy jacket for sons, daughters or grandchildren of sailors who served in the Navy. It is warm but not too warm for early spring days and nights.

    Great Jacket - 4/27/2015

Bought it online without trying on. The fit was good, and I was impressed by the relative weight of the fabric. Not too heavy and not too light. Just right for New England Spring or a cool Summer night on the boat.

    OUTSTANDING JACKET - 4/24/2015

This is a wonderful lightweight yet warm garment. It has rapidly become my favorite jacket for this time of year in Maryland. Unplanned but smart purchase on my part.

Gift for my husband - 4/15/2015

This jacket is very well made. The fabric is heavy but very smooth. There is no lining but with a sweater under it the North Carolina jacket season will be well tolerated. My husband was a naval officer and this is just perfect for him.

    Looking good - 4/11/2015
    By: from Norwich

The jacket looks the business, and feels like a quality item; the collar and cuffs, fastenings and zip are all good quality. My only criticism is that the internal pocket is clearly made for a mobile phone and will not take a wallet. This is a big disadvantage, as the outer pockets are not deep enough to ensure a wallet will not fall out.

    Nice Jacket - 4/6/2015
    By: from Arlington VA

Might be a tad expensive for what it is, but hopefully it will last a decade and then its price wont be an issue. Very cool looking jacket, have 2 compliments in the first week of wearing it. I read some people had an issue with how it fit, but it fits me great. I am 6'1" 185 athletic build and its perfect in L. I could see it being baggy if you are very slim, I've got wide shoulders. It does have 1 interior vest pocket, just big enough to hold my HTC M8 after I took the button out.
