This had the potential of being a great skirt. One I didn't realise that it had a back vent; is that what boot cut means? I've been able to sew that up as the skirt is wide enough. But the biggest disappointment is the length. The description is 31", mine is barely 29" - did I get sent the wrong product? I'm also a little disappointed with how light weight the fabric is, I am used to my husband's moleskin trousers which are quite heavy weight. I purchased this skirt a good sale price so will keep it but it won't get a lot of wear being so short.
feels promising -
I often buy clothes off-season, which is true for this skirt. It's really for the transition season, at least in New England. What's unusual is that this FITS, hangs evenly, is a nice color and a nice weight. I can hardly wait for March! (Did I say that?)

This is a very nice slimming skirt that goes well with jackets. The loden color is a nice olive.
Great everyday skirt -

I waited until I'd washed it before posting a review and it washed perfectly. I ironed it on the reverse and it's lovely; so soft and a very flattering shape. So I bought the Loden colour as well. Both will co-ordinate with Autumn colours beautifully.

The styling of this skirt is quite basic, and so for everyday work wear, I think it will do nicely. The material is soft and the fit is good. It washed nicely, but because it should not be put in the dryer, it needed to be ironed - wrong side only. I think it's over-priced at the regular price, but more reasonable on sale. I'll wear it with a vest over a turtle neck.
