Attractive shirt -
The small plaid looks good in blue/tan. The fabric is soft while still substantial. The sleeves are a bit short for a six footer, but Orvis does not have tall.
Comfy Shirts -
My husband loves all Orvis cotton/wool shirts because they are so comfortable and well made!

I really like the colors in this district check pattern. The shirt is soft and comfortable cotton flannel, nicely stitched and detailed.
My new favorite shirt -

Don't listen to the other reviewers who never wore the shirt before returning it or the one who thought the color was different. Try it & wear it, then decide like I did that it's my go to shirt for 3 seasons (okay, 2.5). Comfortable, well made, extra button in the front (thank you), open collar all make for a great shirt for me. Like my other Orvis shirts, I expect this to hold up for many years. I have shirts costing 2x this that aren't made this well or as comfortable. Just wish it had been on sale before Christmas, when my wife got it for me.
Not as hoped -

Recipient did not try on--thought it looked too much like another shirt he has. Plus, feared sleeves would be too short as with other shirt. Sent shirt back for refund.
I have returned the shirt this day and found when it arrived was not up to my liking although I never took it out of the Package
Nice shirt but... -

Well made with nice colors (though some not discernible in the web image). But If only the "faux leather" trim had been the rich, dark brown as pictured, the shirt would've been a keeper! Which which brings me to the real issue: why not invest in tech- nology that allows magnification and better viewing of the web images? Given your prices and shipping charges, that doesn't seem (to me) like an unreason- able expectation.
