The delicate beauty of a brook trout is hard to ignore. Flaming red fins capped with snowy white tips emerge from a body dotted with orange specks and blue halos. In tumbling mountain streams, they slash at flies, as eager to eat as they are terrified of the unknown. Bringing one to hand is a joy; fishing for them with the 2-weight, 6' Helios 2 is sublime. The old axiom that claims size doesn't matter? Bull. In this case, the smaller the better. Proudly made in Manchester, Vermont.
Why would we take the world's best fly rod and change it? The answer is simple. We're driven by constant improvement. Put this rod in your hands and feel the rush. You'll completely understand.

Just received my brand-new Helios 2 6 foot 2wt Rod I have got to honestly say this is the lightest rod I've ever held in my hands also it's a Midflex Rod and is true to being that! It lays down Dry flies without even a ripple at 20 to 40 feet no prob almost effortlessly ! I love the size of the smaller all cork handle and the fact it is super amazing ultralight rod.Hands down looks and cosmetics of this rod there are no complaints in my books. If you are looking for a great Small stream/Creek Rod look no further this is the premium one BELIEVE ME...even better than the sage txl-f ;)
