The Best Rod I've Ever Cast! -

I just got back from my first time taking my H2 out to the Sound for sea run cutthroats. All I can say is WOW! The rod felt light in hand and through the entire casting stroke. No vibration anywhere in the cast - the rod was smooth through my back and forward casts. It sounds like marketing hyperbole, but the rod did indeed feel like an extension of my hand. No matter the length of line out, the H2 gave me confidence like I've not felt before with any other rod. At all lengths the line moved smoothly and crisply. And does it shoot line! I was using an Outbound 6wt floating line, a line that I had trouble getting to work with on other rods given its long head. Not the H2. It was easy casting. Amazing. This is the finest fly rod I've ever cast. Thank you Orvis - this rod stands head and shoulders above all the others. It will make anyone a better caster.
