Great rod -
Great rod! Just what you would expect from Orvis. I had a 906 Helios 2 tip flex, and couldn't figure it out. So they sent me this one. It's great, super fast and very controllable. Couldn't be happier with it, and the top notch customer service at Orvis.
Just... wow. -

I purchased this to be my primary Steelhead rod as well as trout fishing with heavy streamers. This rod casts what you want it to cast effortlessly and says "that's it?!" The first thing I noticed was how little effort I was putting in to mending line and how much more I was ready for the strike. This rod really does everything for you and I'm spending more time in the feeding zones because of it. The more time your fly is in the feeding zones, the more fish you're going to catch. Just that simple. I cannot see me buying another big game 6-wt. for a very, very long time.
