I'm an intermediate fly fisherman and this was the first change I made to my setup. I break down my rod for transport each time I go out, so my leader was always curled up and never really straightened out. With the braided leader I have a much easier time putting the fly right where I want it. I was ridiculed by an individual who mocked the simplicity of the Bimini tippets. He had a strong opinion that if you can't tie the knots then you shouldn't be fly fishing. Don't let these guys discourage you from simplifying your rig!

Simple, strong and effective. Coupled with the Bimini tippet makes rigging much, much easier. Used very effectively nymphing dries, stones, emergers, and midges. Drys next! Haven't found what it doesn't work on. Great product. Completely changed out all my different size leaders and tippet stores.
braided leaders the best -
I've used these floating braided leaders for the last 7 years in Wyoming, Colorado, White River in Arkansas and the trout parks in Missouri. They turn over nicely when casting and you can quickly change the tippet due to the loop to loop connection. I dry fly a lot when there's a hatch and the braided line gives me that soft presentation when casting.

The loops on the braided leader were slightly larger than necessary. I purchased this as an alternate to just the leader itself which was not in stock . I should have waited. I didn't find the tippets to be of value which could have been transitioned better.
A must for fishing Dries -

If you are a dry fly fisherman who fishes year round and you are not using a braided leader, you are handicapping yourself. Nothing turns over as well, especially in the cold. The Orvis braided leaders are the best I have found and I have been fishing them for 20 years. My one gripe is I wish they came in a 7.5 foot length in all weights, that said I wouldn't be streamside with anything else.

Can't do without. Saves time and trouble on those cold ice in the guides days. Helps the turn over.

I've had favorable results with this leader and it really made my dry fly presentations improve. Reduced splash down and better drift of dry fly patterns.
