What does it take to create a shearling coat worthy of the name “World's Finest”? We start by hand selecting the most sublime genuine merino shearling hides available. Our American craftsmen then painstakingly construct a coat so handsome, luxurious, and warm, you won't mind the arrival of cold weather one bit. Plus, our coat is cut long enough to wear over a sport coat, making this an indispensable addition to your cold-weather wardrobe. Contrasting oiled calfskin trim. Heavy, cut-brass full-front zip ensures years of trouble-free operation. Genuine water-buffalo-horn buttons. Two cosy exterior hand-warmer pockets; two interior pockets. In brown. 100% shearling. Professionally clean. USA.
Regular even sizes 40-52. About 33" long in size 42.

Sizing Information for Orvis Men's Clothing

Orvis clothes are cut generously to accommodate an active country lifestyle. In addition, we build plenty of “wearing ease” into all our garments to ensure you will enjoy them for many years. We field-test all of them on Orvis associates, and we take into consideration how the clothing will be worn. For example, when we fit outerwear, we always size it with the appropriate layers beneath. That means you do not need to order a size up for a comfortable fit.

Not sure what size to order? Just chat, e-mail, or call 0844 557 4188 to reach our Customer Service experts. They will be happy to give you the actual garment measurements for any item we sell.

Inseaming Guidelines: Most Orvis trousers are available custom finished to your inseam length. In addition, many of our trousers can be plain finished or with turn-ups. Plain finished hems are cut for length, then folded under, creased, and sewn. When tailoring a turned-up hem, we create a 1 1/4” turn-up at your request. Simply specify your preference when ordering.

How to Measure

Men's Sizing InformationIn all instances, hold tape firm and level, but not tight.
a. Head: Using a flexible/soft tape measure, start 1" above the ear. Follow around head staying 1" above the ear. This will give your most accurate reading. Then refer to the chart for size.
b. Neck Circumference: Wrap tape around to the base of your front neck and allow room for wearing comfort; OR measure the collar length of a favourite shirt.
c. *Sleeve Length: From the centre back (CB) of your neck with your arm slightly bent, follow the tape around to your wrist bone.
d. Chest: Wrap a tape measure evenly around the fullest part under your arms.
e. Waist: Wrap a tape around your natural waistline, or where you actually wear your trousers.
f. Seat/Hip: Standing with your feet together, measure around the fullest part of your hip (approx. 7-8" below the waist). Don’t forget to keep the tape level.
g. Inseam: Best taken from an existing pair of trousers you like. Measure along the garment inseam from the crotch seam to the hem.
h. Glove Hand: Measure all the way around the flat part of your hand, excluding the thumb, and around the widest part at the knuckles. Refer to sizing on product page to convert this measurement in inches to your corresponding glove size.
