    Nice But ! - 5/5/2015

i returned this shirt due to the rough nap of the fabric . it was not "peached " as expected and I had another similar shirt [not Orvis] that never soften up.

    What a Great Shirt! - 4/14/2015
    By: from Livingston, Montana

Soft like I've worn it for years, the first time I put it on. Fits me like it was tailored. The buttons are a little weird with the ribbon attachment instead of sewn, but they will probably stay put better. I ordered the stone color first and am going back for at least one more. Remember, if you think its best, you had better order two, their sure to discontinue it!

As I've come to expect from Orvis, this shirt is just as advertised: excellent material, well tailored, and sized as expected.

    Best Shirts Ever - 3/30/2015
    By: from Somers Point, NJ

I bought this shirt in two colors. They are two of the best shirts I have ever owned in my life. (62 years old I am) Fit is true to size. They are rugged and fit for anything that can be thrown at them. Comfort is exceptional. Delivery was fast enough. The look of these shirts is business-professional, casual and even dress worthy under a sports coat. My only wish is they would come in more colors. Orvis, I'm so glad I found your company. Keep up the great work.

I purchased two of these. They require special attention when washing and drying. They are well worth the effort! Nice looking shirts. Durable fabric. Well constructed.

    Great Shirt - 2/17/2015

Shirts like these are becoming hard to find. Well made, washes well and look like they will last a long time. Wish they were offered in white and had a summer weight.

This is a well put together, tough, work and/or field shirt. It is a heavy shirt that should be good protecting your body from cuts or scrapes that come from working outdoors or just doing everyday chores. It is a bit stiff straight from the package but seems to have softened up a bit after a couple of washes. I like the looks of the shirt and the fit.

    Great Multi-purpose Shirt - 2/11/2015
    By: from Vashon, WA

I work in the commercial fishing/seafood industry and don't have to wear a tie to work, even if there's a meeting. I spend a lot of time outdoors, fishing and hacking around, and I like to wear clothing that reflects my lifestyle. This khaki-colored classic fills the bill. Others have commented that the weight of the fabric should be lighter, but here in the Northwest, it's perfect under a wool vest in the Fall & Spring and I know it'll perform well hanging loose over a pair of shorts in the summer. I'm a 2XL kind of guy with a long waist, and it fits very well through the shoulders and at the cuffs. Tail-wise, it doesn't need any addition length and the hidden pocket is hidden so well I don't even notice it. One unique feature is the button strip that runs through all the buttons on the placard. They don't look like they'll break away anytime soon, and they are very easy to fasten. This doesn't sound so outdoorsy, but I also do my own ironing and I regularly judge a shirt by the way it lays flat and takes to an iron. There's no fighting this garment, especially when doing the sleeves. I'm sure I'll get the chance to see how it holds up to many washings. And I'm not sorry I bought two of them on sale.
