Orvis Answer Centre
Welcome to the Orvis Answer Centre for Conservation Questions! You'll find the answers to our most frequently asked questions concerning our conservation efforts.
Does Orvis contribute to conservation efforts?
For more than 25 years, Orvis has been a leader in conservation efforts worldwide, because we believe, if one cares about our natural resources and wild places, one needs also to care for them. That's why we donate 5% of profits annually to organisations that protect and restore fish and wildlife habitat. Over the last ten years in the USA, we've raised nearly $10 million to such organisations as Trout Unlimited, The Nature Conservancy, Coastal Conservation Association, Ducks Unlimited, The Conservation Fund, Ruffed Grouse Society, and The Atlantic Salmon Federation.
Equally important, our commitment to conservation in the UK is also growing. Through Orvis UK we support such organisations as The Wild Trout Trust, Salmon & Trout Association, Angler's Conservation Association, B.A.S.S., and The Riverfly Partnership. Our support is expressed in a variety of ways, including joint funding initiatives and donations of items for auctions and raffles—to name just a few.
How can I contribute?
Contributions should be sent directly to the conservation organisation addresses. You can find these addresses via website links on our The Orvis Commitment page.
