    THE STORY

    The Clearwater® 7-Weight 9' Fly Rod is at home in a number of situations, from throwing heavy streamers and nymph rigs to trout, to dropping big poppers in the lily pads for big bass. With plenty of backbone to fight big fish, this rod is at home in any situation where strength is needed, but larger big game rods would be overkill. With a medium-fast action this rod is at home on the flats for smaller bones and might be the perfect rod for schoolie stripers and blues. Incredibly versatile and remarkably affordable, the Clearwater 907-4 fly rod is an easy add to anyone's quiver.

    The new Clearwater® Rod Series is not just a cosmetic facelift, but a complete overhaul from the ground up by our Vermont rod designers. Everything has changed except the value.
