The Orvis Saltwater Fly Fishing Festival is, first and foremost, about building a community of people who share the same passions: fly-fishing, the outdoors, and adventure. In a world filled with busyness and disconnectedness, we are proud to have created an event which offers these people the opportunity to pause, come together, and simply take the time to enjoy themselves. The weekend is a chance not only to explore saltwater fly-fishing, but also to meet new people, learn something new, and forge connections. Central to developing these shared experiences are our event partners without whom the event would not be possible.

There’s nothing quite like a beer or two to bring people together at the end of a day’s fishing, and no one quite like Lakedown Brewing Company to make that happen. James Cuthbertson, avid fly angler, friend of Orvis UK, and Partner at Lakedown Brewing Co. pulled out all the stops to serve our thirsty attendees some delicious modern and traditional beers from YETI coolers at the Saturday Social, and even offered some tasters for people to take home. Lakedown Brewing Co. are key supporters of angling and the environmental sphere, and we are grateful to them for providing the perfect vehicle for people to come together and celebrate everything that fly fishing encompasses.
