Like its 7-weight sibling, the 8-weight, 11' Mission Switch fly fishing rod offers the ability to adapt to different techniques in different situations.

This rod is a go-to for the angler who wants to manage indicator rigs, swing big streamers in rivers and tidal currents, or use an overhead cast across big water for steelhead, salmon, and other anadromous fish. The switch-style grip allows you to adapt your fishing to tight quarters and has the length to make handling those nymph rigs a breeze.

Choose the 8 wt. over the 7 wt. to maximise your efficiency on bigger water or wherever you prefer heavier nymph rigs and larger streamers.
