This year’s Orvis Saltwater Fly Fishing Festival promises more than just great casts and saltwater adventure. The YETI® Night Station returns for its second year and this time it's welcoming a new partner: Weber UK.
Renowned for their passion for live fire cooking, Weber is joining Orvis and YETI® to help create a memorable evening where food, community and the outdoors come together.

Melissa Thompson
Barbecue chef, author and award-winning writer, Melissa Thompson is a Weber ambassador and the author of Motherland, a powerful exploration of the history and evolution of Jamaican cuisine. She’s a regular voice on BBC Radio 4’s The Kitchen Cabinet and a contributor to outlets including The Guardian, National Geographic and Conde Nast Traveller.

Genevieve Taylor
Genevieve is the author of 13 cookbooks including the acclaimed SCORCHED, SEARED, CHARRED trilogy. A live fire and BBQ expert, she is also the founder of Bristol Fire School where she teaches people how to build better fires and cook more confidently outdoors. Sustainability and seasonality are central to her work, as is a love of seafood and great meat.

Barbara Wakeford
Weber Grill Master Barbara Wakeford leads the Emsworth Cookery School on the south coast. Known as the “home of home cookery,” the school is dedicated to making good food accessible to everyone. Barbara brings a wealth of experience and a warm, encouraging approach to outdoor cooking.

Shane McBagley
Originally from California, Shane McBagley is an award-winning pitmaster and the founder of McBagleyBBQ. His bold, no-fuss live fire cooking style is all about big flavour and good times. Now based in the UK, Shane hosts BBQ classes, pop-ups, and whisky-paired feasts across the country.

Gyles Foster
As Weber UK’s Grill Academy Lead, Gyles Foster is at the forefront of live fire education. He works across the UK helping home cooks and aspiring grill masters gain confidence with fire.
