The Orvis Saltwater Fly Fishing Festival brings together beginners, improving and experienced saltwater fly anglers for a 4-day celebration of our sport.

Our beginners join us on Thursday and Friday for dedicated coaching, workshops and time on the water, before our improving and competitive anglers arrive from Friday through Sunday for a packed weekend of fishing, learning and social events.

And for those wanting the full experience, you can join us for all 4 days!

FOR BEGINNERS

Whether you're completely new to angling or you just haven't tried saltwater fly fishing before, Thursday and Friday are the perfect place to start! And you can even stay on for the rest of the weekend!

FOR IMPROVERS

From Friday through Sunday join some of our incredible guides who take the time to share their knowledge of saltwater fly fishing in both classroom and practical sessions.

FOR COMPETITORS

Once again come and compete for top prizes in our Saltwater Fly Fishing Festival Competition! And our Youth Competition is also back for our under-18 anglers!

WORKSHOPS & CLINICS

The first 2 days of the Festival focus on beginner-friendly learning, with classroom sessions, casting tuition and guided time on the water. Perfect for anyone completely new to fly fishing, or river anglers looking to step into the world of saltwater fly fishing.

From Friday through Sunday, the focus shifts towards developing saltwater skills, with advanced casting sessions, guide-led workshops, fly tying demonstrations and practical sessions designed to help anglers improve their fishing and build confidence on the coast.

COMPETITION FISHING

The Orvis Saltwater Fly Fishing Festival would not be complete without our competition fishing, giving anglers the chance to land impressive catches and compete for top prizes across the weekend. Our Youth Competition also returns for under-18 anglers.

Day tickets are also available, meaning you can join us for one, two or all three competition days while still taking part in the event competitions and activities.

EVENT ACTIVITIES

The Festival isn’t just about the fishing. Throughout the weekend, attendees can enjoy the pop-up shop and a packed schedule of social events supported by our sponsors, designed to bring everyone together in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
