We are delighted to establish a recycling partnership with the Anglers National Line Recycling Scheme (ANLRS). This scheme is the first of its kind in the United Kingdom and has identified a sustainable route for fishing line to be recycled.
The non-profit, voluntary scheme was founded and launched in 2018 by the Local Independent Sea Anglers in conjunction with the Global Ghost Gear Initiative. The only funding, they obtain comes via donations from anglers, tackle shops, fisheries and manufacturers.
More than 185 shops have already signed up to the ANLRS, together with several fisheries, angling clubs and charter boats. However, we are the first fly fishing company to partner offering recycling points in all 18 of our UK-based stores taking the total to over 200 shops within 11 months of the scheme being launched nationally.
