ANGLERS AGAINST POLLUTION
The Angling Trust's Anglers Against Pollution initiative empowers anglers to play a vital role in advocating for a healthier, environmental future. By holding the government accountable for its commitments, actions, and responsibilities, they aim to make a substantial impact.
Since the launch of their Water Quality Monitoring Network in 2022, which has made a huge impact in enhancing the enforcement of existing laws and implementing necessary improvements, Orvis UK has continued to support this groundbreaking initiative and has since committed to a further 3 years sponsorship.
FISH LEGAL
Fish Legal, a non-profit organisation comprising lawyers and dedicated environmentalists, utilises legal means to safeguard the water environment. Their focus involves holding polluters and regulators accountable for their responsibilities in preserving British waterways.
Orvis UK is actively demonstrating its dedication to this cause by directing 100% of the profits from the sale of our Activist Anglers caps to support this campaign. We also encourage newer anglers to take part in our regular class FF201: Learn to Fly Fish on the Water, where 10% of each purchase supports Fish Legal.
THE MAYFLY PROJECT UK
The Mayfly Project UK, is a national organisation that uses fly fishing as a hobby, to mentor and support children in foster care.Their mission is to provide these children with an enjoyable outlet, nurturing confidence, and a meaningful connection with the outdoors by introducing them to local water ecosystems.
