The Tippet Trap has been carefully designed by edenMADE from the ground up. A two-part, high-quality 3D printed body, with heavy duty Velcro used to capture waste line. Supplied with stainless steel wire loop.
The aim of the Tippet Trap is to easily secure and store waste tippet and monofilament line. Trying to shove it in a pocket really isn’t a solution and cutting it into small piece and throwing it on the ground is unacceptable. Securing waste line is very straight forward; fold the end of the line into a small loop and press it into the fish shaped slot, hold with your thumb and the Velcro will pick up the line as the knurled cap is rotated.
The Tippet Trap has a large capacity, so you’ll only likely need to empty it occasionally. Emptying is easy; rotate the cap and pull off the main body (a firm pull in opposing directions is all that’s required), exposing the Velcro and waste line. Cut down the slot with a pair of scissors, the line can then be removed and disposed of properly.
