Any time shooting lines are involved a stripping basket is somewhere between a helpful tool and an essential piece of gear. Comfortable to wear, easy to carry and intuitive to use, the Flexistripper is an improvement on traditional stripping baskets. The side-free design and flexible pegs capture line so that you can stay focused on fishing rather than line management.
As you retrieve line, simply let go of it over the FlexiStripper. The long flexible pegs will catch the loops of line. If the line hangs over the sides of the FlexiStripper, just let it – the flexible pegs will still release the line with very little resistance. You should let the first strip of line land on the water – this ensures that the first piece of line doesn’t tangle when you make your next cast.
