THE STORY

The Mission Switch 11' 7-Weight Rod is a two-handed fly rod option for fishing smaller tributaries of coastal rivers or the Great Lakes in the pursuit of summer-run steelhead or other anadromous fish. Mission Switch rods have also become a go-to for those who want to fish the surf or throw suspended nymphs to cruising trout on Pyramid Lake.

Great for tight spots and also excellent for overhead casting indicator rigs with good reach for those critical mends. The shorter switch-style grip allows you to use a conventional cast or a two-hand cast, making the Mission Switch 11' 7-wt. an excellent way to add multiple technique options to your fishing. This rod is incredibly versatile and has the length to make handling those nymph rigs a breeze.
