The Catch Series: Pike on the Fly Experience - Berkshire
The Catch Series: Pike on the Fly Experience
Ever wondered what it might be like to fish for this apex freshwater predator, how it may feel to have a 20lb+ fish putting a bend in your fly rod… then fly fishing for pike could be your next adventure.
The Avington Estate is known for its prime fishing along the River Kennet flowing through the property. The Kennet is a beautiful, clean, and clear wild chalk stream, widely regarded as one of the finest chalk streams in the country. It remains largely unspoilt and not manicured, making it a haven for wildlife both in-stream and on the surrounding meadows and chalk downs.
Toby Hudson is the estate fishery manager and hugely experienced all-around and pike fly-fishing guide. So there's no one better to lead your day.
Previous fly fishing experience is recommended.
Equipment and lunch are not provided and a kit list will be given to you ahead of attending.
