The Catch Series: Pike on the Fly
King Sedgemoor Drain provides a vast and well-stocked setting for multi-discipline anglers including fly fishers for pike. Previously hosting the National Fishing Championships, it's also an important wildlife haven for the South West of England.

Rodney is a qualified fly-fishing guide and coach, offering years of experience and specialist expertise in UK saltwater, predator freshwater and loch–style fly-fishing for brown trout. Share Rodney's intimate knowledge of these highly respected waters and how to fish them. Learn how to read the water, prepare your rig and cast using large imitation bait patterns in pursuit of an exceptional British predator.

Guests are invited to use their own fly rod outfits, typically an 8 or 9 weight outfit is recommended - a full kit list will be provided upon booking. Rodney will provide specialist gear to safely land, handle and return fish, in addition to your local fishery ticket.
